British sellers are more likely to recommend the Galaxy S3 that the iPhone 5

If you are not an Apple fanboy or Android aficionado, but simply a future consumer looking for a new smartphone, then know that you have more chance to walk away with a Samsung Galaxy S3 rather than the iPhone 5 Apple, if you consider the personal opinion resellers.

According to a survey conducted in eight of the largest dealers in the United Kingdom during the Christmas period by a client "mystery", the company Informa Telecoms & Media has found that among all brands, vendors recommended a Samsung device more than other.

So a company like Samsung produced a slew of different phones with different features and different prices, sellers have recommended most often upscale device from Samsung, the Galaxy S3. Information suggests that push the more expensive Samsung phones is certainly linked to a higher fee.

Other phone manufacturers such as LG, Motorola and RIM were barely mentioned either by store personnel or by way of in-store signage and other promotions, the survey shows.

Commenting on the results, the analyst Informa, Julian Jest, states that "the mystery shopper showed that the devices were the most recommended Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2, although it has been on the market longer than the latest phones from Apple, Nokia and HTC. "However, the most surprising was how, despite an advertising campaign for the launch of its newest product, two stores have recommended the iPhone 4, and even 3, in addition to the iPhone 5!

Admittedly, the survey sample is small, but even so one wonders what motivated sellers to recommend further Korean giant phone that the Cupertino company.

Samsung has sold more than 40 million Galaxy S3 since its launch in May 2012, resulting in the release of some pretty impressive financial figures last week, while recent data released by Apple showed the Cupertino company has sold nearly 50 million iPhones in the three months ending December 2012.

While Apple and Samsung are trying to do their best to win the hearts and minds of consumers, both companies will continue to fight fiercely!
